CURT 1-7/8" trailer balls are constructed from high-strength steel to match the towing power of your class 1 or class 2 trailer hitch and ball mount and come with fine threads on the shank for improved holding strength. Having a trailer ball that matches your coupler size is absolutely essential. At CURT, we engineer our trailer balls to be precisely fitted. When we stamp 1-7/8" into the top of each hitch ball, we actually mean 1-7/8".This CURT tow ball features a ball capacity of 2,000 lbs. It is able to tow most utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, smaller livestock trailers and some recreational vehicle haulers (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component; i.e. the vehicle, hitch, trailer, etc). As with any trailer, be sure that your towing equipment is capable of handling the load before hitching up. This trailer ball also features a 3/4" shank diameter, a 1-5/8" shank length, 0" of rise and a nickel-chrome finish to protect against corrosion and wear. Freight Shipments
Large items such as bumpers, some lift kits, and other oversized products may require freight delivery.
Customers are responsible for:

- Inspecting the shipment before signing for delivery.
- Noting any visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt.
- Reporting concealed damage within 48 hours of delivery.

Return Policy

Standard Returns
Most new, unused products may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Returned merchandise must:
- Be unused and uninstalled.
- Be in its original packaging.
- Include all hardware, instructions, and accessories.
- Be in resalable condition.
Return Authorization
A return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required before returning any item.
Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.
Non-Returnable Items

Return Shipping
Unless the return is due to our error or a manufacturer's defect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Restocking Fees

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Defective Products

Refunds

Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled prior to shipment.
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled and must follow the standard return process.
Custom or special-order products may not be canceled once production has begun.
Installation Recommendation
Many truck accessories require professional installation.
We recommend having products installed by a qualified installer. Damage resulting from improper installation is not covered under our return policy. Please contact one of our store locations for professional installation.
