The REDARC BCDC1250D is a 12V, 50A In-vehicle DC to DC Battery Charger designed to keep your auxiliary battery charged when driving or with portable solar panels when parked. It uses multi-stage DC-DC charging, a system that allows optimum charging levels for your auxiliary battery. The BCDC1250D has been developed to provide a higher current output, it features an additional charging stage known as SoftStart which has been engineered so that it can handle more demanding applications. Featuring a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator, the BCDC1250D will charge from both solar and the alternator simultaneously. And, with built-in Green Power Priority it will select solar charging first, meaning less load on the alternator. Suitable for 12 or 24-volt vehicle systems, the unit will also work with either standard or variable/smart alternators. It is compatible with all common types of batteries used in automotive and recreational vehicles such as AGM, Gel, standard lead acid, Calcium and LiFeP04. As a guide, the BCDC1250D is used for battery bank sizes over 200AH. For smaller batteries of 75-200AH, REDARC recommends the BCDC1225D. This DC-DC battery charger with solar input has been proven to work in all types of terrains, including deep water crossings, and stands up against extreme heat (up to 176 deg F). It's fully sealed against the risk of infiltration from water and dust and will hold up to the adventure at hand. It's designed to maximize the performance and life of your auxiliary battery and is suited for battery bank sizes of 200AH and above in most applications. Order Processing
- Most in-stock orders are processed within 1-2 business days.
- Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
- Custom, made-to-order, or special-order items may require additional processing time. If extended lead times apply, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Shipping Methods
We ship throughout the continental United States using trusted carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, and LTL freight carriers for oversized items.
Shipping options and estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout.
Free Shipping
Free shipping may be offered on qualifying products or orders. Free shipping applies only to eligible locations within the contiguous United States and excludes oversized freight shipments unless otherwise noted.
Freight Shipments
Large items such as bumpers, some lift kits, and other oversized products may require freight delivery.
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing an accessible delivery location.
- Inspecting the shipment before signing for delivery.
- Noting any visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt.
- Reporting concealed damage within 48 hours of delivery.
Failure to note shipping damage at delivery may affect the ability to file a freight claim.
Delivery Delays
While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, shipping dates are estimates and may be affected by weather, carrier delays, manufacturer availability, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
Standard Returns
Most new, unused products may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Returned merchandise must:
- Be unused and uninstalled.
- Be in its original packaging.
- Include all hardware, instructions, and accessories.
- Be in resalable condition.
Return Authorization
A return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required before returning any item.
Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally non-returnable unless defective or shipped in error:
- Custom or made-to-order products
- Painted or color-matched items
- Special-order products
- Electronics that have been installed or activated
- Spray-in bedliners or installed services
- Clearance, closeout, or final sale items
- Gift cards
Return Shipping
Unless the return is due to our error or a manufacturer's defect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Restocking Fees
Certain manufacturers may charge a restocking fee, typically between 10% and 25%, depending on the product and supplier. Any applicable restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
- Save all packaging materials.
- Provide photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label.
We will work quickly to replace the item or resolve the issue.
Defective Products
Products covered by a manufacturer's warranty may be repaired or replaced according to the manufacturer's warranty policy.
Our team will gladly assist you with the warranty process whenever possible.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your account, depending on your financial institution.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled prior to shipment.
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled and must follow the standard return process.
Custom or special-order products may not be canceled once production has begun.
Installation Recommendation
Many truck accessories require professional installation.
We recommend having products installed by a qualified installer. Damage resulting from improper installation is not covered under our return policy. Please contact one of our store locations for professional installation.
